The BC Court of Appeal sits in Vancouver, Victoria, Kamloops, Kelowna and Whitehorse, and hears appeals from the Supreme and Provincial Courts and administrative tribunals and references from the BC Government. The Supreme Court hears criminal and civil matters and summary conviction appeals from the Provincial Court.
The position provides daily processing, organization and distribution of hundreds of files, records and other material to Justices, Judiciary staff including Judicial Administrative Assistants, Scheduling staff, Judicial Administration and multiple registries in both the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Secondary school graduation or equivalent AND
A minimum of 2 years of clerical/customer service experience OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience;
Minimum 3 years driving experience, must be able to obtain a Class 4 (restricted) license within 6 months.
Preference may be given for:
5 years safe driving
Graduate of Defensive Driving course or recognized training program with experience transporting people.
Experience with records management.
Class 4 (restricted) licence at time of hire
