The Document Controller is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Major Project document control and records management program in alignment with privacy, security and records management legislation, policy and standards. The position includes document classification, storage, security, inventory, maintenance, retrieval and destruction.
The Document Controller position will be with the Highway 91/17 & Deltaport Way Upgrade Project, which comprises a combination of improvements to existing Highway 91, Highway 17, Highway 91 Connector and Deltaport Way to improve travel safety and efficiency; more details can be found on the project website http:/www.gov.bc.ca/highway91-17-deltaport. Please note that while the project team is currently located in Vancouver, the project office will be moving to North Delta/Surrey in late 2019; the Document Controller position will be relocated with the project team at that time.
